How we handle your information

Last updated 25 October 2026. This is a plain-English summary of how First Defence Group (“we”) treats information. Discretion is central to our work, and that applies to your enquiry too.

What this website collects

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it has no forms. Its fonts and images are served from our own site, so loading a page does not send your details to third-party font or tracking services.

If you contact us

If you email or telephone us, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as your name, contact details and the nature of your enquiry. We use it only to respond to you and, if you become a client, to provide the service. We treat every enquiry as confidential and we do not sell it, share it for marketing, or disclose client identities.

Hosting and email

The website is hosted by Netlify, which, like most hosts, may keep standard technical server logs (for example IP address and time of request) for security and reliability. Email is provided by Google Workspace.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only as long as needed to respond and for legitimate business and legal reasons. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email info@firstdefenceuk.com and we will respond promptly. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
